Technology is reshaping the world, making it smarter and faster, and it also brings complexities and risks that could alienate communities and individuals.

Obsession over the "speeds and feeds" and features of technology may lead to suboptimal results. Beyond mere functionality, we must pay close attention as to who controls the strategy and the narrative, and for what purpose. Do regular people even want the new tech ? To quote the show, “ancient alien astronomers would respond with a resounding”… No. So, If folks don’t perceive the want of the need, who are the new technologies being driven by and why. Is the rapid/rabid adoption solely for profit, or driven by a god-complex engineer, a venture funded pyramid scheme, or by a political entity? For an actual business, it's essential to assess whether new technologies align with business goals, personal values, and their impact on society. The real value and risks of AI, robotics, and blockchain for our business and the wider community need careful evaluation.
